- The acid-alkaline determination is not the pH of food itself. It is the residue ash that forms when food is oxidized.
- Cool or cold foods tend to make the body more alkaline.
- Warm or hot foods tend to make the body more acidic (there are exceptions).
Too much acidity or too much alkalinity can imbalance your health.
