Rasayan Churna

Equal Parts shows up frequently in Ayurveda in 3 equal parts:

  1. Amla
  2. Gokshura – cognitive
  3. Guduchi – immune

Sometimes use Rasayan Churna as a single part of another formula.  The formulas on this page are drug like in Ayurveda, not preventative supplements.

Tri formulas

Hingwastak

ushta means 8 part formula  Hing is so potent, even though it us used in equal parts of the rest of the formula.  Digestive enhancer for over eating

Equal parts:

  1. Pippali (Piper longum)
  2. Gigier (Zinggiber offinale)
  3. Kali Mirch (Piper nigrum)
  4. Ajwain (Carum copticum)

Gockshuradi Guggulu

  1. Triphala
  2. Trikutu
  3. Gokshura : urinary tract the go to herb in Ayruveda for kidney and bladder
  4. Guggul : deep detoxifier
  5. Musta : mild female reproductive tonic

Ayurveda is focused on digestion, so there are lots of formulas

Avipattikar Churna

Stool loosening formula to pull the pitta of of the body.  The Trvitt root bark is very potent and is the main herb of this formula.

  1. Ginger
  2. Pipali

Saraswati Churna

Used for epilepsy

  1. Ashwaganda – broad spectrum tonic for brain
  2. Vacha
  3. Shankpushpi
  4. Ajwain
  5. Cumin
  6. Trikatu
  7. Rock Salt

Some of these are fast acting others slow acting

Mahasudarshan

Formula for the eyes

  1. Chiretta (or other bitters)
  2. Trikatu
  3. Triphala
  4. Cannabis (optional)

Sitopladi Churna

Grandma formula for cough and cold

  1. Rock sugar – to liquify mucous
  2. bamboo manna – suppress coughing
  3. Long Pepper
  4. Cardamon
  5. Cinnamon

Take a heaping teaspoon of it to expectorate thes stuff in your lungs.

Kaishore Guggul

for Arthritis and Inflammation

500 mg formula

  1. Tinospora cordifolia (guduchi)
  2. Emblica officianalis (Amla)
  3. Terinalia belerica (Bibitaki)
  4. Commiphora mukul, Purified (Guggul) 1/5 of the formula

Kanchnar Gugglu

Threat Thyroid and masses, goiter, Hyperthyroid  can use this as a base formula and add to it to tune it to the individual

  1. Commiphora mukul (Guggul)
  2. Bauhinia variegata (Kanchnar)
  3. Embilica officionalis (Amla)
  4. Terminalia chebula (Haritaki)
  5. Piper lognum (Pipal)
