Constitution

  • Our constitution is determined by the health of our parents at the time of conception, and inherited weaknesses and strengths.
  • Inherited weaknesses and strengths determine our strength, susceptibility to disease and, consequently, our food needs.

Acid-Alkaline

  • Acid-alkaline is one way of looking at warm-cool energy of food.
  • The acid-alkaline determination is not the pH of food itself. It is the residue ash that forms when food is oxidized.
  • Cool or cold foods tend to make the body more alkaline.
  • Warm or hot foods tend to make the body more acidic (there are exceptions).

Too much acidity or too much alkalinity can imbalance your health.

*Most people eat too many acidic foods and not enough alkaline ones.

Balanced Diet

A balanced diet is one that uses foods energetically, incorporating more foods with a neutral to cool and neutral to warm energy, less food with warm or cool energies and sparing use of hot and cold energy foods.

Overall, a balanced diet includes foods with a neutral-warm and neutral-cool energy that are neutral-full to neutral-empty in quality.
