Description:
 Ayurvedic Botanical Medicine is an elective. Will discuss Ayur- veda from a basic perspective, and focus on the role of herbal medi- cines in the Ayurvedic health care system.  Be engaged in a “process-centered†approach to Ayurvedic bo- tanical medicine. We will concentrate on therapeutic objectives and herbal actions.
ï‚· The class will discuss case strategy and the role of individual Ayurvedic herbs, Ayurvedic polyherb formulas and herb actions from the Ayurvedic perspective and discuss several approaches to a case and to the use of any specific herb in the selected Ayurvedic materia medica, primarily energetic approaches.
