Latin name:  Phyllanthus niruri, P. amarus (Ayurvedic name means “earth amla”. It is a low growing amla bush.)

Family: Euphorbiaceae (very closely related to amla, Emblica officinalis)

Habitat: native to tropical areas including southernIndia, andChina
