Main medicinal uses: irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, and abdominal pain after giving birth

Preparations: decoction: 1 tsp/cup water tid, capsules: 6 grams qd

Contraindications: pregnancy; may increase blood flow during menses; use with caution when concurrently taking anticoagulant medication
